The FIGC (Italian Football Federation) has agreed to postpone the deadline for paying the salaries of clubs in the Italian League . From May to June 2021 deadline.
Many clubs in Italy are experiencing economic difficulties due to the impact of the Corona virus pandemic. As a result, there is a risk of the club failing to meet the player’s salary obligations which were originally scheduled to be completed at the end of May, in order to register for the next season’s competition.
The problem has now met a solution. From the results of the FIGC meeting with Lega Serie A, Lega B, Lega Pro, AIC, and AIAC, the postponement of salary payments is determined from March to June.
“The President of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina, proposed to the Federal Council, which was unanimously approved, to postpone verification of the March payroll to June, however required for registration for the next championship,” the FIGC statement said
The director of Inter Milan , Beppe Marotta, had hoped that there would be a middle way to get around the crisis in the Italian League . Inter is one of the clubs in arrears of wages.
“There is no problem, we all see a situation that attracts conscience, but I guarantee all contractual obligations will be fulfilled,” Marotta said two weeks ago as quoted by Football Italia.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus has asked its players to postpone salary payments for four months, from March to May. On the other hand, coach Andrea Pirlo denied this.
“The world of football must pay attention to this situation during the financial crisis for the sector. We have paid all salaries regularly, which we are proud of,” Juventus Chief Financial Officer Fabio Paratici said on Saturday.
Is Mourinho Still The Special One?
Paolo Di Canio looked cynically at the excitement of AS Roma recruiting Jose Mourinho . The Portuguese tactician seemed to be out of date.
Mourinho was appointed as Roma’s new coach starting next season, just about two weeks after being laid off by Tottenham Hotspur.
It will mark Jose Mourinho’s comeback to Serie A since leaving Inter Milan in 2010. However, in Rome Mourinho was faced with a challenge that was not easy
The coach who is nicknamed the Special One is demanded to return the Giallorossi to the top flight. Since finishing third in 2017-18, Roma have not finished in the top four, including this season.
According to Di Canio, Mourinho’s presence made some Roma fans very happy. However, the Italian football legend also stressed that Mourinho had made many mistakes and it was no longer okay after leaving Inter.
I could only hear screams, nothing more,” said Di Canio at the Sky Calcio Club.
“I told the truth in an audio message that went viral. He made a lot of mistakes over the last few years,” the former Lazio striker continued.
Some of my friends thought they had won the treble.”
“I understand it’s not good for someone to play Mourinho , but it’s crazy to say he’s been doing well these days,” Di Canio insisted.
Man City Will Do Everything For the Champions League Title
Pep Guardiola wants Manchester City to give everything in the Champions League final . Man City’s focus now is only to beat Chelsea for the Big Ear.
Man City has confirmed the seal of the Premier League title, even though this season still has two games left. The Citizens have now won two titles this season. Before the Premier League trophy, they first secured the Premier League Cup title.

Because of this, Guardiola also hasn’t thought about plans for the next season. He does not want to discuss Man City’s plans to bring in new players in the transfer market next summer.
It is very important for us to celebrate the Premier League together and play in the Champions League final,” Guardiola was quoted as saying from Man City’s official website .
“Now is open for a good time. Every season there are changes and I think there will be, I don’t know if zero, one, ten? The market is very difficult for everyone.”
“But now I want all the players to focus on what we have to do. The players first know what we are playing for. They are very focused on what we have to do,” explained the man from Spain.
