Australia floods: Baby kangaroo rescued from crocodile-infested waters

Police in Australia have rescued a child kangaroo from crocodile infested floodwaters over the weekend in Burketown.

The kangaroo joey was noticed swimming close to two giant crocodiles by a helicopter pilot, who alerted Queensland Police.

Heavy rains brought about record-breaking flood within the area, with native authorities saying residents needed to be airlifted out to security.
